Exercising regularly such as daily walking can help in the circulation of the blood in the pelvic area that can prevent future menstrual pain. A salt-free diet and fish oil is proven effective in preventing dysmenorrhea. Low dose contraceptive pills are also prescribed by doctors to avoid this condition.
